A recent posting of GH about his fascination with Godzilla child shot me a myriad of memories about the films that I loved to fool. So I decided to name those that were now appearing in my memory. It's like a "top of mind " of my childhood.
My earliest memories are physically go to the drive-in movies, actually. I remember seen there Flash Gordon, which had music by Queen . And another call Condorman , which I remember nothing. I was about 4 years. Then start the video boom, so many movies are seen at home.
When it comes to comedies had a couple directed and starring Gene Wilder killed me: The smarter brother of Sherlock Holmes and The World's Greatest Lover . It was dumb, but half a bizarre and fun. And acting greats of comedy as Marty Feldman and Dom DeLouise . Burt Reynolds was another favorite mine from those years. His saga Bandido ( Smokey and the Bandit ) was the most. Hooper also his film, one about a stuntman with the "disappeared" Jean-Michael Vincent. And then The Cannonball Run , although this was much more farting. I can also name the Zucker brothers' as Where is the pilot? and Top Secret those of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill and I have to admit, those Olmedo and Porcel .
On the side of science fiction I have the memory of The War of the Worlds , The Time Machine (with Rod Taylor ) The land that time forgot (with Doug McClure e-do not confuse with Troy -), Westworld (with Yul Brynner like a cowboy android), The Omega Man (with Charlton Heston , based on the book I Am Legend ). Movies
terror that marked me: Howling , who had a werewolf transformation I shit on the legs; Time vampire, a TV miniseries based on the novel by Stephen King , with the horrible vampire history. Dracula also remember Jack Palance of ... Oops, Scanners ... What julep when Michael Ironside he blew his head to the other bum! I also saw a lot
disaster movies : The Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake , Hell in the tower, Airport ...
And then to mourn films. The red balloon, which I only remember there was a red balloon, and a English boy named Toby , which angel wings came out ...
Anyway, I saw movies as a kid, I remember fondly because they were cemented my love of film, which then would be entrenched in adolescence. Of course, not name many classics or best-known films also saw (why mention Star Wars or ET ?). In this post something unrelated just wanted to name these movies that appeared in my memory and I think they are not as well known in most cases. Do you remember
lost movies from your childhood?
