Greenberg is the new Noah Baumbach film , director of The squid and the whale and co-author of The Life Aquatic of Wes Anderson . Ben Stiller is the title character, an embittered middle-aged has not yet found a direction in his life. Speaking of directions, it is good that this film marks a change for Stiller, who has made poor wretch in mediocre comedies too many times. The trailer gives hope so, but you never know.
