Skatepark Game Tech Deck

Afternoon: The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

This 2007 French film never had a chance to see, and thanks to cable TV could finally do it recently. Is the true story of Jean-Dominique Bauby , young editor of Elle who suffered a stroke and coma that left the physical capacity of only blink his left eye. Imprisoned in a body still, but with full mental faculties, has succeeded in writing a book conveying his words by simply blinking his eye.
What a priori seem to be the kind of melodramatic film which escape floor is a real gem, thanks to the brilliant leadership of Julian Schnabel , transcends the mere drama about a patient into a superior work. The film is an artistic triumph to convey to the imagination, sense of humor and intelligence of its subject, without ever falling into the low blow or cash. Based on the book written by Bauby , sampling the imagination does transcend any physical condition.

Mathieu Amalric is excellent in a role almost impossible (show emotions through an eye). And is surrounded by a cast mostly women, all beautiful and talented. Is also perfect for Max Von Sydow as Bauby's father .
In short, a unique film that leaves a feeling of joy rather than sadness. The joy that generates talent. In this case, the main character and those responsible for making a film like this. I recommend warmly to be seen.
