Shooting Pain In Finger

Original title: Bruno (USA, 2009) / Address: Larry Charles / Cast: Sacha Baron Cohen Gustaf Hammarsten / Duration: 81 mins.

Brüno leading marks the return of Sacha Baron Cohen to the big screen after his mega success Borat. It is a film even more crude and vulgar, but less funny and original than the last. For those who find pleasure in bold mood, there's plenty to enjoy. Those who are most sensitive, rather than abstain.
Cohen plays the title character, a leading Austrian host TV show about fashion's most popular German-speaking countries (except Germany). But due to an unfortunate incident at a parade Brüno is dismissed from the program, which was shut out of fashion. He decides to travel to the U.S. with the goal of becoming a celebrity. Ready for anything, will use different methods and characters to find instant fame.

style Brüno is practically the same as that of Borat . So, insert the character in the midst of looking uncomfortable situations the reaction of the people involved, all filmed with camera in hand, in the manner of a reality show or a hidden camera. To what extent seen here is really improvised goes beyond my knowledge. What is certain is that the history of Borat subtracted freshness to this resource. Like this, Cohen messes with groups that are easy targets for parody or reaction (religious zealots, homophobic, gross-southern rednecks USA-, African, Middle Eastern political leaders, etc). In other words, look for reactions of people who are by nature reactionary. On the other hand, the central story is very similar to Borat , in particular the relationship of the character with his assistant and eventual fall from grace. In short, the surprise factor is reduced.

Nevertheless, I must admit that many parts of me were very funny movie. As I said, overall the humor is fairly straightforward and vulgar (I refuse to use the term "politically incorrect"). In fact, I think the greatest merit of Cohen is the be no limits. Should be the mainstream comic more radical in its proposal (I can only think South Park at the same level), although at times his humor does not seem far removed from that seen on programs Marcelo Tinelli. But underneath the comedy tabloid exists an ironic and critical of contemporary society, which is something relegated from the impact of some things seen and heard here.
In conclusion, I recommend seeing Brüno without great expectations and with the exceptions of the case. He who laughed Borat, you will enjoy this movie. It's that simple. An hour and a bit of humor (Right) guides and a bit silly, but with some brains.

Can I Buy Glutathione Soap In Canada

painted her laziness

Original title: (500) days of Summer (USA, 2009) / Address: Marc Webb / Cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel, Geoffrey Arend, Clark Gregg / Duration: 95 mins.

Among all prefabricated and bland romantic comedies that come from USA, every so often, there are some that make a difference. When Harry Met Sally , Hi Fi and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are signs that we can tell a story of love differently. (500) days of Summer may not be up to those named, but it is a romantic comedy that stands out for the originality with which it is presented and narrated. And while its central story does not have anything new, the way in which dissected the troubles of a relationship and the comments made on their return trips they put on a different plane.
From the beginning the film makes it clear that we will see a history of boy-meets-girl , but not a love story. In fact, it is more a story of suffering of love (although both things go together.) Tom is a shy kid who one day meets Summer, the new employee card company where he works. First attracted by physical appearance, Tom make every effort to get his attention. When she finally succeeds, he discovers that she is more than a pretty face and, although Summer warns early on that not to get into a serious relationship, Tom can not help but get caught with this girl who seems ideal for him. From there we will see the future of their relationship, but not chronologically, but going back and forth during the 500 days of the title.

best of the film is on the way to take a story in a nonlinear fashion, which does make it more interesting something that otherwise might not be much. This resource provides an original way to contrast the different stages of the relationship, leading to some valuable conclusions and infrequent. Moreover, the film shows the growth of its leading man, who leaves behind the incomprehension and despair when he gets to analyze its own behavior and discover that sometimes, we see only what we see.
If the film that marked a weakness is that it goes far beyond its effective storytelling. In other words, is more interesting the "how" than "what." Also, at times the film gives the impression of believing more cool and nice it really is (the voice-I disappeared completely.) And the use of indie musicians or worship, not only in the soundtrack but also as referring to the protagonists (eg The Smiths ), at this point it is a kind of common place in American independent film. But beyond these observations, we must conclude that the new approach and presents situations that the film can keep the interest, leaving more than positive.

's performances the characters are beyond reproach. Joseph Gordon-Levitt carries more emotional weight of the plot, as his character is who is more emotionally committed to the relationship. The young actor (and a veteran at 28 years) transmitted with absolute credibility to different emotional situations through his character (joy, confusion, frustration, acceptance). Zooey Deschanel have less chance to shine, largely because the film is less interested in showing the inside (the main perspective of the story is that of Tom ). But Deschanel Summer get that is an interesting character because of his sympathy, its inherent intelligence and his peculiar charisma.
In conclusion, (500) days of Summer is a highly recommended comedy, in which the dish that gives us much more striking in its presentation of its ingredients. But the taste of which remains with us a long time. Maybe it's a slightly more bitter taste than many romantic comedies, but more interesting and ultimately realistic. For he who does not know that love is the most bittersweet of course, that will be heard. That's a lesson that all Tom the world and we have well learned.

Spiral Staircase Banister Book

have noticed (or maybe not) I'm half lazy to post things. In fact, a mix of laziness, lack of ideas and time. But hey, is the end of the year. We are all pretty burned. I will return to my interesting articles soon. For now, I leave the trailer Unknown years of Ironman 2 , dangerous enough that I look forward to and paints more than good.
