greeting for the 41 th anniversary of the Association of Volunteer Fire Santa Teresita
The mayor of the Party of La Costa, Juan Pablo de Jesus, greets volunteer firefighters in the town of Santa Teresita in the day of its 41 th anniversary of founding and recognizes their courage and continuing commitment to the community.
Volunteer Firefighters Association of Santa Teresita, was founded on March 3, 1970, became its first commanding officer Commander Major Mario Abel Cavo.
In 1971, acquires the first fire engine to the Volunteer Firefighters San Fernando, assigning the number 1. Then, this unit was named after Sergeant First Josefa Tortosa, first female staff of the institution.
In 1973, with José Musach as chairman of the board, opened the headquarters located at Av 8 N º 257.
the institution currently has more than seventy men, being the Deputy Chief Commander body Mariano Daniel Cavo and as President Julio Nanini. It also has the detachment of the dolphins.
Volunteer Fire Association of Santa Teresita has the following units:
- 4 pumpers light from 1000 to 2000 liters,
- intermediate pumpers 2 4000 liters,
- 1 tanker, 10,000 liters
- 3 ambulances
- 1 4x4
- 1 rescue truck
- 1 gomón to perform water rescue.
